What is the difference between sWype and Dend?

sWype is the finishing cleaner: spray it on, wipe it off, and the surface is done, inside or out. Dend is the degreaser for heavier contamination such as carbon exhaust, brakes, gear, bugs and engine bays. When a job needs both, use Dend first and finish with sWype.

What does AMS 1526C mean?

AMS 1526C is an SAE Aerospace Material Specification for cleaning compounds used on aircraft exterior surfaces. sWype and Dend both conform to it, and to Boeing BSS7432.

Is sWype safe on aircraft paint, glass and acrylic?

Yes. sWype is made for paint and body surfaces, leading edges, wheels, glass and acrylic windows. As with any product, try a small hidden area first.

Can I use sWype inside a car or a cabin?

Yes. sWype is made for interior hard surfaces as well as exterior ones: piano-black panels, wood trim, vinyl, windows and touchscreens. We do not recommend it on leather. On screens and displays, spray the microfiber rather than the screen.

Can I use Dend inside?

Dend is made for exterior work. Inside, keep it to small jobs such as lifting a stain from carpet or loosening stubborn contamination on certain hard surfaces, and try a small hidden area first. For everything else inside, use sWype.

Do I need to rinse?

No. Both products are spray on, wipe off. Dend can also be used in a wet wash if you prefer.

Can sWype be used with a clay bar?

Yes. Use it as the lubricant, then wipe off the excess. The clay step and the finish come out of the same bottle.

What is the difference between Ready-To-Use and Concentrate?

Ready-To-Use is mixed and ready, in 16 oz, 1 gallon and 5 gallon. Concentrate comes in 1 and 5 gallon and is diluted with water before use, which lowers the cost per use for people who clean every day.

How do I dilute Concentrate?

The standard ratio is 10:1, which is 10 parts water to 1 part Concentrate. You can adjust it to the job. Always dilute sWype. For stubborn bugs or carbon, mix Dend stronger, at 5:1. Use it undiluted only on the very worst contamination.

How should I store sWype and Dend?

Keep the container closed and store it above freezing, 32°F (0°C). Neither product is classed as dangerous goods for shipping, so a bottle can travel in a car or a detailing kit.

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

Anywhere in the United States. Shipping is a flat $9.95 on orders under $99 and free on orders of $99 or more. Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. The 1 gallon and 5 gallon sizes ship by ground, so allow a few extra days for those.

What is your return policy?

Unopened, unused products can be returned within 14 days of delivery. If something arrives damaged or wrong, email orders@swypeclean.com within 7 days with your order number and a photo. See the return policy for the details.

Do you offer commercial or wholesale pricing?

Yes, for accounts that order regularly or in volume. Tell us about your operation on the Commercial Solutions page.
